Isola Bella – Ristorante Pizzeria Gelateria
I visited Isola Bella in the late afternoon, when the restaurant was fairly quiet. Despite the low number of guests, there were plenty of staff members, and the service was friendly, attentive, and welcoming throughout my visit.
I ordered the Pizza Napoli, which was topped with tomato sauce, mozzarella, and anchovies. The pizza had a thin, crispy, Roman-style crust rather than a thick, airy Neapolitan one. Overall, the flavors worked well together, the only downside was that it was a bit saltier than expected. Since anchovies are naturally salty, that’s to be expected, but this pizza still seemed noticeably saltier than most pizzas with anchovies I’ve had.
The prices are fair (Pizza Napoli: 10,90€), especially considering the quality of the food and the location.
Overall: Isola Bella is a solid choice for authentic Italian pizza with friendly service and reasonable prices. While the Pizza Napoli was a little too salty for my personal taste, it was otherwise very enjoyable. I’d happily return to try some of their other pizzas.
